Flat Glazed

Mac Flat-Glazed Skylights are custom manufactured with glass sealed units. All sealed units are manufactured with tempered glass on the outboard layer and laminated glass on the inboard layer. The outer tempered glass offers improved resistance to breakage while the inner laminate glass is used for safety reasons. The glass material has an interlayer of transparent vinyl and if the inner glass is ever broken, the laminate glass remains in place in the frame.

As these skylights have a designed condensation gutter, it will lessen the condensation build up on the base frame inside your house. For skylights in a bathroom or a kitchen, the heat build-up around this area is likely to rise, so this design will help prevent any water leakage that can cause any interior damage.
